How to Apply
Is SEEL right for you?
Please take some time to think and pray about the required commitment of time, energy and what your hopes are for the retreat. If you think SEEL is right for you at this time, we warmly invite you to apply.
Complete the application form (online application instructions are below), write a brief faith autobiography and return them as soon as possible, and our deadline is July 31, 2026. If you see this after our deadline, please check with us at info@seelpugetsound.org to see if we still have space available. We ask for two references to fill out the application reference forms (please, no family members) and send them to the address provided as soon as possible.
Your application materials will be prayerfully reviewed by SEEL staff members and you will be notified concerning acceptance into the retreat once we receive your forms. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to call the SEEL office at 206-721-3518 or email us at info@seelpugetsound.org.
We now offer an online application.
- Click the item “2026 Application Form” from the menu drop down on this page.
- Complete the application. If you need to take time and return to the application, first make sure that you have entered your email address to save your work. Then click “Save Progress” before you leave and when you return, your previous work will be restored.
- When you have finished your work, press the ‘submit’ button to send your application. Our online process will send reference forms to the email addresses that you provide. We will need to receive both application (Including your faith autobiography) and references before we can process your application and follow up with you for a short phone interview. If you have further questions or difficulties, please call our Executive Director, Lisa Dennison, at 206-234-3614.
SEEL Staff members will be in contact via email and on the portal.
Or you may download our application to submit by email or mail.

Nothing is more practical than finding God, that is, than falling in love in a quite absolute, final way.
What you are in love with, what seizes your imagination, will affect everything.
It will decide what will get you out of bed in the morning, what you will do with your evenings, how you spend your weekends, what you read, who you know, what breaks your heart, and what amazes you with joy and gratitude.
Fall in love, stay in love, and it will decide everything.
Pedro Arrupe, S.J.
